"My favorite session was the ECO2 walk because the speakers spoke really well, including the teens. I loved to see other teens get so involved with the community because they have the same goals as I do. The presentation was organized and interesting to listen to, especially since teens and adults worked together by communicating with each other to encourage high schools to walk and bike more to school. They planned events, gave prizes out (food), and even spoke in front of middle schools to spread awareness and education to other kids.

Now as I take my new knowledge home with me, I am not afraid to talk in front of people because if other teens can do it, then I can too! I also want to speak to different schools to spread knowledge and educate middle or high schools on healthy living. I learned that high schools like food, using electronics (smart phones), competition, and winning prizes to get excited.

So, with all these facts, I want to spread awareness to schools in Houston in a fun way.”
